Who is this service for?
Our services are designed for individuals who experience dental anxiety, feel overwhelmed in traditional dental offices, or prefer a slower, more personalized approach to dental care. Patients do not need to be homebound or elderly to receive care.
What makes your approach different?
We provide patient-led dental hygiene care. That means we move at your pace, explain each step before we begin, check in often, and pause or stop care anytime you ask. Comfort and consent come first.
Where do appointments take place?
Appointments are provided in the comfort of your home or care facility when appropriate. Being in a familiar environment can help reduce anxiety and make dental care more manageable.
Do you provide dental exams or diagnose conditions?
As a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP), we provide dental hygiene services, oral health assessments, and preventive care. If additional treatment is needed, we coordinate referrals to a dentist or specialist.
What services do you provide?
Services include routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, oral health assessments, periodontal screening, fluoride treatments, desensitizing treatments, and personalized oral hygiene instruction.
What if I need to stop during my appointment?
You are always in control. You may pause, take breaks, or stop treatment at any time — no explanation needed.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Services are private pay. We do not bill insurance directly, but we provide detailed receipts and documentation that may be submitted for insurance, FSA, or HSA reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Can I use my FSA or HSA?
Dental cleanings are generally FSA/HSA eligible. We provide itemized receipts and supporting documentation upon request, though reimbursement depends on individual plan guidelines.
How long does an appointment take?
Appointments vary based on individual needs and comfort level. Visits are unhurried and scheduled with enough time to ensure care is delivered gently and without rushing.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Once scheduled, you’ll receive simple preparation guidance and intake forms to complete at your own pace. There’s nothing special you need to do — just plan to be comfortable.
Is this service safe for anxious patients?
Yes. Our approach is specifically designed to support patients who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or have had difficult past dental experiences
